What does Additional cardholder mean?

When owning a credit card there is an option for all customers to create additional cards which stem from the same account. These cards, owned by entrusted persons, all draw funds from the same bank account. The person responsible for all the payments towards charges is still the main cardholder, meanwhile the additional cardholders still benefit to  the full extent of the card. Charges can be made by all the cardholders no matter who is the original and who is the additional cardholder.
