What does Funding mean?

Funding is basically the phase of credit according by the credit card issuer. After all other phases have been completed, and you are found eligible for the credit because you fulfill all the necessary criteria, you account is being funded. Usually, if you are a new member will have to wait more for funding than a returning member; of course it always depends on your credit history as well.
