What does Transaction Identifier mean?

The transaction identifier assigned by VISA logo carrying credit cards, is a series of 15 digits which is sent in response to the acquirer each time a transaction occurs. You will notice a transaction identifier number each time you use the automated teller machine in order to process cash using your credit card. This is a safety related process which VISA implemented through the Payment Service 2000/ATM program.
