What does Voice Authorization mean?

Pertaining to merchant accounts, voice authorization is when the merchant actually gets a voice authorization code, after he gets in touch with the bank. It is a process of pre-authorization of a transaction and the received code has to be typed on the trans-center screen (“authorize e-commerce transaction”à”voice authorization).
